MY AMBITION IN LIFE
"If you want your life to have impact, focus it", God said. We were made to have meaning in life. I was born in a city where the air is polluted. The people there are always on a great rush to cope with the day to day living. But what mostly caught my attention were those beggars on the sidewalks especially the streetchildren, where their dreams, hopes and wishes are not happened because of their sad plight.
My heart is filled with sadness, I pitied them. Can they still realize their dreams? I thank God that even though we're not rich but I'm not one of them. I'm thinking of myself since Grade 3. What I want to be when I grow up. I would like to be someone who can help my family despite of our situation nowadays. My mom always tells me that I should be a nurse someday. But my obssesions are about chemicals and to discovers more about the structure of the earth. I want to be a scientist! Am I insane? Oftentimes I laugh at myself. I dream also of becoming a physician to help people become happy and healthy; to awe their sickness and make their life stay longer.
So, I must study well first to make my dreams come true. I will study well to learn more about but there are times when I get bored and disgusted. My mom always reminds me that "while you are still alive, there is always hope". Those words are my weapons to face life's challenges.

MEET MY FAMILY
A family is the most precious treasure you'll ever have than any other golds and gems in the world. Which gives you love, tender and care. All of us has our own family. By the way, I'm Christine Hope L. Boncales and I want all of you to know and meet my family. Let's start with my parents. My father is Mr. Marino E. Boncales. He was born on November 7, 1963 at Tagbilaran, Bohol. In that place was where he graduated from preschool to college. After he graduated at college, he went to Cebu to apply for a job. In Cebu was where he met my mother and got married with her. And now, he was working as a construction worker at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My mother is Mrs. Euselyn L. Boncales, the daughter of Mr. Eusebio Amador Lozada and Mrs. Cresencia Tubal Lozada. She was born in July 20, 1956 at Cortes, Surigao del Sur. She spent her elementary days at Cagwait Central Elementary School at Cagwait, highschool days at Jacinto P. Elpa National High School at Tandag, and college days at San Carlos University at Cebu. She was working as an employee at Dutch Boy Incorporation at Manila. After many years, she was transferred at Cebu where she met my father and got married with him. But one day, she resigned in the company for the reason was no one was there to take care of me and my brother. And now, she was at Cagwait taking care of my brother.
In our family, we are only two siblings, me and my brother. I'm Christine Hope L. Boncales, a first year highschool student at Jacinto P. Elpa National High School. I'm 12 years old and was born in January 17, 1997 at Minglanilla, Cebu. I'm older than my brother. My brother is Julius Christian L. Boncales, a Grade 5 pupil at Cagwait Central Elementary School. He was born in July 2, 1998 at Minglanilla, Cebu also. By the way, our religion is Roman Catholic.
Now, that all of you know my family, I'm very happy. For despite of our situation because of financial crisis, I'm still very proud of them. They give me strength in every challenges we are going to face, inspires us to do our responsibilities, courage to let us become strong, communicate with us to know the problems and worries of each member of the family, and lastly, is love for an eternal power which no one can get or buy it with money. See, how God is good and powerful for he gave us the most wonderful treasure in the whole universe.
